 Busy Summer Ahead

FAMILY GAME NIGHT for elementary age children, grades 1 - 5 will be Friday, June 13, 2008 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the gym. Bring your favorite games! Pizza & ice cream sundaes will be served! No charge, but donations accepted. Grandparents bring your grandchildren! Please RSVP by June 12, 2008.

TICKETS ARE AVAILABLE in the church office for the Youth and SAM (Senior Adult Ministry) Shreveport Sports game on June 16th against the Fort Worth Cats. The tickets are $4 and you can pick them up. If you would like a ride to the game, meet at the church on the 16th and we will leave at 6:30 p.m. and return to the church after the game. Contact the church office if you have any questions.

COME ONE, COME ALL, to a Church Family Picnic at the Yacht Club on Sunday, June 29, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. We’ll cook the hot dogs and provide the plates, cups and lemonade; you bring a salad (A-K) or dessert (L-Z), frisbees, kites, fishing poles, etc!

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL “Rainforest Adventure” is scheduled Monday through Friday, July 14-18, 2008, 8:30 a.m.—12:00 p.m. for ages rising K4 through 8th grade. Call the church office for more information (222-0604).

JOIN THE FUN at our own PEP Little Adventure Camp, July 14-18 from 9:00 a.m.—12:00 p.m. for all children 3 months up to those entering K3 next year. Each class will enjoy age-appropriate “adventures” in a safe and loving environment with PEP teachers. Cost $75. Enrollment is limited. Registration forms are available in the church office and must be returned with payment to the Preschool Director.

JOIN THE SAM (Senior Adult Ministry) Group for a trip to Dallas for this year’s summer musical “Jersey Boys” Thursday, August 14, 2008. The cost is $160 per person which includes motorcoach transportation from Shreveport and a theater ticket. For more information please call the church office 222-0604. The deadline for reservations is July 20.
